Double Trouble is Judita Vivas and Miriam Gould.
We come from a range of disciplines, such as physical theatre, music, ensemble theatre, comedy and interdisciplinary performance. Our shared performance work seeks to explore autobiographical and real-world events, using improvisation, physical imagery and sound art.
Together we delve deep into the world of creative research, physical imagery and sound. We use playful improvisation to create vivid performance images. We then enrich these images by experimenting with soundscapes and different languages.
We are based in the UK and have followed each other’s work for more than ten years, but only recently decided to start working together. The reason for this – our shared personal and family experiences of displacement which led to our first show Adventures in Black and White.
